Dhonburi Rajabhat University is a government university and was founded 64 years ago, initially focusing on teacher training. Over this time, the array of programs has expanded to meet the requirements of society in each period. The programs of our five faculties cover a variety of subject areas, and we also have a demonstration school. The main campus is in Bangkok, with a second campus in Samut Prakarn. Our university was among the first institutions to train students in the areas of hotel and tourism. These subjects have been offered for more than 20 years, and we have had student exchange programs with Chinese universities in place for 10 years. Overall, the university has accumulated experience and expertise in teaching about hotel and tourism. In addition, educational cooperation has expanded to include different universities in other countries.
The world nowadays is changing rapidly. In the near future, cooperation among the countries in ASEAN will increase, and their economies should become linked to a greater degree than currently. At this point, education needs to keep up with these changes and play a leading role in shaping a capable future workforce. Therefore, Dhonburi Rajabhat University has established the International College Establishment Project to prepare our students to thrive within a rapidly changing society. Our teachers are experienced and knowledgeable. The self access study room, comfortable classrooms and other facilities are provided to create the ideal learning atmosphere for our students. I believe that our College's programs and its qualified lecturers will combine to produce effective learning outcomes.

The International College Establishment Project has been founded in order to give students from various backgrounds the tools to compete successfully beyond Thailand's borders. The growing importance of ASEAN, economically and otherwise, suggests that new generations of students will require international competence. Already we find more and more people traveling and moving to different countries for employment in our increasingly borderless world. Even those who stay here may find themselves interacting with foreign companies or individuals regularly. For all of these situations, an international education is ideal preparation. Currently we offer four programs that have been tailored for the current situation. I strongly believe that our students will be equipped with solid knowledge of both academic and practical nature. Our international college establishment project consists of qualified and responsible teachers who can provide an English-speaking learning environment akin to immersion. In addition, our students have the option to study abroad for a semester, which is further preparation for international work. In sum, we believe that our graduates will have a bright future after studying with us.
